Baby Boomer Way
I am a 58 year old female who has lost 60 pounds and has maintained this weight loss for 1 year. I was able to achieve this goal by diet (2 meals a day) and exercise (hula hooping, aerobics, Wii Fit, and more). I wanted to be healthy instead of just being able to wear a slim pair of jeans that would only last a few weeks. I have a website where I advocate a fit and healthy lifestyle by writing daily posts. My entries are inspirational words, recipes, exercises and more. I conjured up my own program that works for me. I am very enthusiastic about hula hooping especially, because it burns fat, is a low-impact exercise, is very heart healthy and is great for boomers. I lost my full time job in March and am able to spend more time on my blog. I always love to share my story and was featured in January '11 on thatsfit.com.
